Havan

Havan is an ancient, sacred hindu religious ritual. It has religious as well as scientific significance. No important ceremonies or sanskar like child birth, mundan, marriage etc are complete without havan rituals.

Havan not only bring peace to the soul but it enlightens the mind too. During havan, various valuable materials are sacrificed to the god of fire. When these valuable material heated up to a certain degree, the fumes produced by it purify the surroundings. This is science tested fact. We can also called it the ancient practice of purifying the surroundings.

Havan must be performed after sunrise and before sunset. Only Ma Durga Bhavni- Kali havan can be performed after sunset.one can perform havan any day of week except Tuesday.
